Medical Director
Jonnathan Busko, MD, is board-certified in emergency medicine and EMS with 30 years of experience in emergency medicine, EMS and disaster response. He has worked as a paramedic, a firefighter, a rescue technician, and a FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Medical Specialist. He completed an MD / MPH program at the University of Pittsburgh, a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Albany Medical Center, and an EMS and Disaster Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center. In addition, Jonnathan has been an educator for over 30 years, teaching students from the elementary to the graduate school levels. He is currently the Medical Director of Care Delivery Transformation and Associate Medical Director of the Emergency Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, and the Hospital Representative to the Maine EMS Community Paramedicine Subcommittee.
When he’s not working, Jonnathan enjoys skiing, hiking, sailing, and kayaking around Maine with his family.
