History
In 1999, Charles McCarthy and Dennis Brockway saw the changing future of EMS and medical transportation services and worked together to create North East Mobile Health Services to meet that change head on.
While it is still owned and operated by its original owner, it has evolved into a full service medical transportation specialist serving patients across the State of Maine, Canada, and New England with a focus on Southern and Mid-coast Maine.
In addition to providing inter-facility, specialty care, and non-emergent ambulance transports, North East also offers wheelchair van transports, municipal 911 response and event medicine coverage.
As the largest EMS service in the State it is dedicated to the advancement of EMS, patient care, and customer service.
